- proteome - The entire complement of proteins expressed by a genome, cell, tissue or organism. More specifically, it is the set of expressed proteins at a given time under defined conditions.
- Gel electrophoresis - A technique used for the separation of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), ribonucleic acid (RNA), or protein molecules using an electric field applied to a gel matrix.
